The San Francisco 49ers are leading the Carolina Panthers 9-7 at half time in their NFL clash.
The first quarter turned out to be a cagey one, with the 49ers opting to grab what points they could through kicking from the field, as Phil Dawson collected the only points from the 15 minutes with a kick from 52 yards.
San Francisco pushed further ahead early in the second quarter through two more field goals, as Dawson kicked from 43 and 25 yards to bring the score to 9-0.
However, the Panthers pulled seven points back late on in the second as DeAngelo Williams completed a 27-yard run to leave the scores at 9-7 going into half time.
