Ray Rice admits to 'biggest mistake of his life'

Ray Rice admits that his actions were "totally inexcusable" after allegedly striking his wife unconscious back in February.

Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice has conceded that he made the "biggest mistake of [his] life" after his altercation with his wife in February.

Rice allegedly struck his wife unconscious at a casino in Atlantic City and has since been suspended for two games and fined by the NFL.

"I made the biggest mistake of my life. My actions that night were totally inexcusable," he told the media, ESPN reports.

The Ravens star pleaded not guilty to a third-degree charge of aggravated assault and avoided trial after accepting an intervention programmw in May.
