Baltimore Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta is at least a month away from his return from injury, according to a report.
The 28-year-old sustained a dislocated hip during his side's training camp and was feared to be out for the season.
However, the diagnosis proved to be not as bad as first feared and as a result John Harbaugh placed him on his side's injured reserve - designated to return list.
Pitta is eligible to practice in week nine but is still recovering from the injury, so a return to the field would be unlikely until week 11, reports ESPN.
The Ravens are 3-4 in their season after week seven.
