The NFL has announced the schedule for the 2013 season, with Super Bowl champions the Baltimore Ravens starting their campaign at the Denver Broncos on September 5.
The Super Bowl winners traditionally start the season with a home fixture, but a clash with a Baltimore Orioles baseball game forced the AFC North side to open their season on the road.
The fixture is a repeat of the divisional round playoff game that saw the Ravens beat the Broncos in overtime.
Elsewhere on the opening weekend, the Green Bay Packers open their season at the San Francisco 49ers, the New Orleans Saints host the Atlanta Falcons and the New York Giants travel to the Dallas Cowboys.
