Half-Time Report: New England Patriots hit back to draw level with Baltimore Ravens

A touchdown from Owen Daniels edges the Baltimore Ravens into a 21-14 lead over the New England Patriots at the halfway stage of their AFC Divisional playoff clash.

A touchdown just before the half-time interval has given the Baltimore Ravens a 21-14 lead over the New England Patriots in their AFC Divisional playoff clash.

The Ravens made the perfect start to the game with a touchdown on their first drive as Joe Flacco found the space to fire a pass into the hands of Kamar Aiken.

Flacco's apparent ease to pick out his receivers continued on the next drive as the hosts celebrated a touchdown for Steve Smith, who safely collected a nine-yard pass from his quarterback.

Tom Brady hit back to lead the Patriots back in the game with a moment of magic, as he spotted a gap four yards from the endzone before sprinting over to reduce the deficit.

Flacco was unable to enjoy the same success in the second quarter, and the Patriots took full advantage to level the scores when Brady sent a pass to Danny Ammendola, who evaded one attempted tackle before diving into the endzone.

An entertaining first half was also a record-breaking 30 minutes as Brady set a new benchmark for the most passing yards in NFL post-season history.

However, it was Flacco who stole the show just before the interval as he used the final drive to hit Owen Daniels at the back of the endzone and restore his side's lead.
