Arizona Cardinals to take on veteran tight end Chris Cooley?

The Arizona Cardinals could give tight end Chris Cooley a route back into the NFL, according to a report in the press.

The Arizona Cardinals could reportedly give tight end Chris Cooley a route back into the game.

According to ESPN, Cooley wants to return to the sport after a stint as a broadcaster and the Cardinals appear keen on signing the 33-year-old veteran.

Cooley spent nine standout seasons at the Washington Redskins, where he became a two-time Pro Bowler and was able to notch 429 receptions for 4,711 yards.

Should the TE make his return to the NFL he would have to compete with Troy Niklas and Darren Fells.
