Carson Palmer: "We've got a long way to go"

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer believes that the team still need to improve following their 17-0 pre-season win over the Green Bay Packers.

Carson Palmer has insisted that the Arizona Cardinals still have work to do, despite beating the Green Bay Packers 17-0.

Andre Roberts and Jaron Brown both scored touchdowns for the Cardinals during the victory at Lambeau Field.

The quarterback told the team's website: "We've got a long way to go. You want to be perfect. When you only get so many opportunities, when you don't get the second quarter, third quarter, fourth quarter, half-time adjustments, you only get 10, 12 plays, you want every one to be perfect.

"It's not only going to be that way. It was just good to be back and see some of the things we've been working on come to fruition."

The Cardinals play the Dallas Cowboys in their next pre-season game.
