Tyrann Mathieu relishing Jimmy Graham challenge

Arizona Cardinals defensive back Tyrann Mathieu admits that he is relishing the challenge of facing new Seattle Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham in the 2015 season.

Arizona Cardinals defensive back Tyrann Mathieu has revealed that he is looking forward to the challenge of facing Jimmy Graham as part of the Seattle Seahawks next season.

The 28-year-old was traded to the Seahawks from the New Orleans Saints in exchange for center Max Unger and their first-round pick in the 2015 Draft.

Mathieu has warned Graham that the NFC West will provide him with a much tougher test of his physical abilities than his time with the Saints.

"I think Seattle as a team, it's tough to beat those guys. You still have to beat No. 3 [Russell Wilson] and No. 24 [Marshawn Lynch]," Mathieu told NFL Network.

"That's a full task in itself. But I'm looking forward to Jimmy Graham, obviously. It's kind of exciting that he came to our division. It's physical. He's gonna have to block."

Graham recorded 85 receptions for 889 yards and 10 touchdowns last season for the Saints.
