The Arizona Cardinals have made 10 cuts to their roster, including veteran kicker Dan Carpenter.
Carpenter was signed to compete with Jay Feely for the starting job in Arizona, but he was unable to beat out the incumbent in training camp.
Also released were Joe Caprioglio, Jarett Dillard, Nick Edwards, Deveric Gallington, Cordian Hagans, Korey Jones, Jonathan Mathis, Caleb TerBush and Ronnie Yell.
Teams have until Tuesday to trim their rosters down to 75 ahead of the final pre-season games.
Arizona face the Denver Broncos in their final pre-season clash on Thursday.
