The Arizona Cardinals have announced the signing of inside linebacker Desmond Bishop.
The veteran had previously represented the Green Bay Packers for five seasons before joining the Minnesota Vikings last year, where he played only 29 snaps over four games.
The Cardinals have brought in Bishop after letting Ernie Sims go, with the 30-year-old now charged with the task of competing for spots against the likes of Kevin Minter, Larry Foote and Lorenzo Alexander.
If he impresses, Bishop is considered to be a good fit for Arizona's 3-4 scheme.
