Ricky Walden has expressed his delight after beating Ding Junhui in the fourth round of the UK Championship.
The Englishman earned a surprise 6-4 victory on Wednesday to stop his opponent's chances of becoming the first player since 1990 to win four consecutive ranking events.
"It was a tough game," Walden told BBC Sport. "He's flying at the moment, scoring so heavy and he's the man to beat, so when you do get your chance and you feel like you've blown it, there's nothing worse. I didn't play my best but I stuck in there."
Walden will now face either Judd Trump or Mark Allen in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
