Former Scotland winger Kenny Logan calls for current attack coach Scott Johnson to be appointed head coach of the team.

Former Scotland winger Kenny Logan believes that current attack coach Scott Johnson should be appointed as the new head coach of the team.

Scotland are currently without a boss after Andy Robinson ended his three-and-a-half year reign following the defeat to Tonga at the weekend.

The result means that Scotland have slipped to 10th in the world rankings, but Logan has claimed that Johnson can turn their form around.

"I would go for Scott Johnson as interim coach to get us through the Six Nations and go for a big name like Nick Mallett or Jake White," Logan told the BBC.

Logan won 70 caps for his country.
