Jonny May confident that his best is yet to come

England star Jonny May warns rivals that his 'best is yet to come' as he gears up for the return of Aviva Premiership rugby with Gloucester.

Gloucester wing Jonny May has issued a warning to rivals ahead of the new Aviva Premiership season, promising that 'his best is yet to come.'

The 24-year-old scored 12 tries in 24 matches for his club last season and started every match of England's Six Nations campaign, but struggled for form on his return to domestic action.

"Looking back, it was a great season for me but I definitely have more to give, for Gloucester and for England," May told the Gloucester Citizen.

"I know what I need to work on and I'm determined to be even better this year."

Gloucester begin their season with a trip to Franklin's Gardens to face Northampton Saints on September 5.
