France coach Philippe Saint-Andre has insisted that he will not be leaving his post, despite his side's disappointing Six Nations campaign.

Les Bleus earned their first point of this year's championships at the fourth attempt on Saturday, when they drew 13-13 with Ireland.

Saint-Andre needs to oversee a win over Scotland next week to avoid France finishing with the wooden spoon for the first time since 1999.

However, Saint-Andre claims that he will be staying on regardless of the result.

"I will of course, as is my nature, assume total responsibility and take the blame for the campaign," he said. "However, I am here till 2015 and I will not be leaving, quite the contrary.

"The Federation and the committee director gave us a target to prepare for 2015 and we will continue to work towards that objective."

Saint-Andre, who began his coaching career with Gloucester in 1998, took control at Stade de France in December 2011.
