Tom Croft says that being chosen for the British and Irish Lions' tour of Australia was a "dream come true".

England's Tom Croft has said that being selected to represent the British and Irish Lions this summer is a "dream come true".

The 27-year-old admitted that this time last year he didn't even imagine being involved for the tour of Australia.

"This time last year I just wanted to get back and play," back-row forward Croft is quoted as saying by PA Sport.

"At best, I imagined the likes of Ben [Youngs] and Manu [Tuilagi] being here, while I'd hoped to be in Argentina with England, so to pull the Lions jersey on again is a dream come true."

Croft will start against Western Force in Perth tomorrow.
