Bath centre Kyle Eastmond not getting carried away

Kyle Eastmond urges his Bath teammates not to get carried away by their 45-0 thrashing of Leicester Tigers.

Bath centre Kyle Eastmond has called on his teammates to remain grounded following their 45-0 thrashing of Leicester Tigers.

The West-Country outfit moved to the top of the Aviva Premiership table on Saturday as they hammered their old rivals at the Recreation Ground.

Despite earning such a confidence-boosting victory so early in the season, Eastmond admits that Bath still have lots of work to do before the end of the campaign.

"It was a great team effort," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "Leicester are a great side and it is always nice to beat one of the top teams, but we keep our feet on the ground.

"We have got a lot of work to do and there is still a lot of improvement in us, and that's what we will be doing on Monday.

"It is always a different level when you play teams like Leicester. We were so up for the game and we are confident in what we can do."

Bath continue the new Aviva Premiership season this Saturday with a trip to champions Northampton Saints.
