Jonathan Sexton scores six penalties to help Leinster win away at Bath in the Heineken Cup.

Jonathan Sexton's form with the boot allowed Leinster to claim the victory from their trip to Bath in the Heineken Cup this afternoon.

The 26-year-old was his Leinster's only point scorer at the Recreation Ground, but his six penalties proved to be enough for the Irish side to maintain their unbeaten start to the competition.

Hosting Bath held the lead at the break courtesy of two penalties from Olly Barkley, while Sexton scored on the stroke of half-time to bring the score to 6-3.

Sexton then scored three more penalties after the break to give his side the advantage.

Bath's Matthew Banahan then went over for the first try of the match, which Barkley converted to hand the home side what looked to be maximum points.

However, Sexton was presented with another penalty eight minutes from the end and he sent the ball between the posts for the fifth time.

There was still enough seconds remaining for Sexton to add a further penalty in the final minute to wrap up a six-point win.
