Seventeen-time champion jockey Tony McCoy will ride at Ascot tomorrow despite being kicked in the face by a horse.
The 38-year-old was treated for cuts to his upper lip and nose, as well as needing a tooth recrowned, after coming off Mr Watson at a novice hurdle event in Wetherby earlier.
McCoy told The Telegraph: "I feel fine. There was no structural damage, it was only skin deep. I may not look very pretty for a day or two, but I am planning to ride at Ascot provided, of course, I feel fine in the morning."
McCoy will feature in four races at tomorrow's meeting.
