Unbeaten colt Frankel recorded his ninth career win when he eased to victory in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at today's inaugural British Champions Day at Royal Ascot.
The Sir Henry Cecil-trained horse went off as the strong 4-11 favourite and romped home to win by four lengths from Excelebration and Immortal Verse.
Bullet Train set the pace early on before Frankel and jockey Tom Queally, who described himself as "terribly lucky" to get Frankel's mount, took up the running and surged away from the pack.
