Sir Des Champs takes Jewson Novices' Chase

Sir Des Champs wins the Jewson Novices' Chase on day three of the Cheltenham Festival, followed by Champion Court and For Non Stop.

Sir Des Champs has won the Jewson Novices' Chase as the Cheltenham Festival kicks off on day three.

Willie Mullins claims the win, while Champion Court took second place and For Non Stop finished well beaten in third position.

The Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys' Hurdle winner started off slowly with Champion Court and Zaynar pulling four or five lengths ahead.

The bookies' favourite Peddlers Cross struggled to get forward while approaching the second last and Cristal Bonus failed to get near the front thoroughbreds.
