Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich.
Kimmich has spent the majority of his career at the Allianz Arena, having made 414 competitive appearances since joining the club from Stuttgart in 2015.
The 29-year-old has enjoyed significant success with the German giants, winning eight Bundesliga titles, six German Super Cups, three DFB-Pokals, a Champions League, a UEFA Super Cup and a FIFA Club World Cup.
While a decade has passed since his arrival, Kimmich remains an integral part of the Bayern side, demonstrated by the fact that he has started all of the club's 24 competitive matches this season.
However, there is some doubt as to whether his association with Bayern will continue beyond the end of the current season.

Liverpool weighing up Kimmich move
Kimmich has entered the final six months of his contract, meaning that he could be available on a free transfer when his deal expires this summer.
According to Bild journalist Christian Falk, Kimmich's uncertain situation has caught the attention of Premier League leaders Liverpool.
The update claims that Liverpool are considering a potential move for the Germany international, although it is unclear whether they are eyeing a cut-price winter transfer or willing to wait until the end of the season when he could be available on a free transfer.
However, there is a possibility that Kimmich could extend his stay with the Bavarians, with the two parties believed to be holding talks over a new deal.

Midfield reinforcement or Alexander-Arnold replacement?
Liverpool attempted to strengthen their midfield with the addition of Martin Zubimendi in the summer, but the Spain international opted to turn down a move in favour of staying at Real Sociedad.
Ryan Gravenberch has since showcased his ability to operate as a number six in Arne Slot's side to soften the blow of Zubimendi's snub.
However, the Reds are still on the lookout for midfield reinforcements, and Kimmich may be an appealing option due to his low cost and world-class quality.
The Bayern man could also be viewed as a potential replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold, who continues to be linked with a switch to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Kimmich has plenty of experience operating as a full-back after beginning his career on the right side of defence before being converted into a defensive midfielder.
