Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is reportedly hit with anti-Semitic abuse on Twitter due to his conduct in the transfer saga involving Gareth Bale.

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has reportedly become the victim of anti-Semitic abuse on Twitter due to the ongoing Gareth Bale transfer saga.

The businessman, who is believed to be adamant on keeping Bale at the club despite receiving a reported £85m bid from Real Madrid, was allegedly hit with Jewish slurs on the social networking site.

Jay Stoll, who is the general secretary of the LSE Students' Union, highlighted a list of anti-Semitic abuse on Twitter by saying: "£85m for Bale... because Daniel Levy is a "Jewish greedy bastard". Twitter is a cesspit of filth."

In the list of tweets, some claimed that Levy was "Jewish as f*** with transfers", while others said that Levy's conduct in the summer window is "very Jewish".
