A Portsmouth fan has tracked down six players in order to complete a 1996 Merlin Premier League sticker album.

Adam Carroll-Smith, who found the album in his attic, is said to have been without Gary Penrice, Lars Bohinen, Keith Curle, Philippe Albert, Scott Minto and Stuart Ripley in the book.

In order to complete his collection, the 29-year-old got in touch with the players in question to take their photos for the album.

"They were all fantastic, really accommodating guys," BBC Sport quotes Adam as saying.

It took six months for the football fan to track down the missing players.
