Former Birmingham City striker Marlon King has pleaded guilty to dangerous driving following a three-car crash in Nottinghamshire last year.
The 33-year-old initially denied the charge in November following the crash, which resulted in another motorist suffering a fractured elbow.
The ex-Premier League footballer is alleged to have committed the offence on his birthday on April 26 while driving a Porsche Panamera on the A46 at Winthorpe, near Newark.
King, who played for Wigan Athletic and Coventry City, has pleaded guilty at Nottingham Crown Court at the beginning of his trial on Tuesday.
King faces a maximum jail sentence of two years.
