BT 'to pay cost of cancelling rival broadband contracts'

BT will pay off customers' existing broadband contracts to enable them to switch to BT and enjoy free BT Sport.

BT has launched a new offer that will effectively allow customers to switch to its service for free, Sports Mole understands.

The deal will see BT pay off new customers' existing contracts to allow them to switch their phone and broadband service to BT.

All BT customers receive the BT Sport portfolio of channels - BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2 and ESPN - for free.

BT will become the exclusive UK home of Champions League and Europa League football next season. The broadcaster also holds the rights to a selection of Premier League games, as well as Germany's Bundesliga, Italy's Serie A and the French Ligue 1.

Sports Mole understands that customers can access the limited-time offer from today by calling 0800 0280048.
