The gloves worn by Muhammad Ali and Sonny Liston in their heavyweight bout in 1965 are reportedly sold at auction for £622,000.
Boxing gloves worn by Muhammad Ali and Sonny Liston have reportedly sold at auction for £622,000.
The pair of gloves were worn during the 1965 heavyweight bout when Ali secured a first-round knockout.
According to the Daily Mail, the gloves were sold by Heritage Auctions at an auction in New York to an anonymous buyer.
The famous fight took place in Lewiston, Maine on May 25.
