Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne and his girlfriend Michelle Lacroix have announced their engagement.
Life has been rosy for the midfielder on the pitch this season as he has produced eight assists and scored three goals in all competitions so far.
The Belgium international and his teammates currently sit fourth in the Premier League table, four points adrift of leaders Chelsea, which keeps the club well within the title race.
It appears that life off the pitch is also going well for De Bruyne as he and his partner have become engaged after two years together.
On Instagram, Lacroix wrote: "Today is my birthday and 4 days ago I got the best pre birthday surprise, I'm going to marry my best friend, partner in crime, love of my life...I said yes!! #MrsDeBruyne"
De Bruyne also took to Instagram to express his delight, saying: "Happy birthday to my future wife. She said yes."

The couple are parents to son Milan, who was born in March this year.
