Toro Rosso driver Carlos Sainz has been cleared to race in the Russian Grand Prix following his crash on Saturday.
The 21-year-old was involved in a serious crash as he skidded into the fence and then crashed into the barrier at turn 13 of the circuit.
Medics rushed to the scene to treat Sainz, but he appeared to be okay as he gave the thumbs up while he was being loaded into an ambulance.
However, Sainz has been passed fit by doctors to compete in the race for Toro Rosso on Sunday, but will begin the Grand Prix at the back of the field.
Nico Rosberg will begin on pole ahead of championship leader Lewis Hamilton.
