Germany DTM champion Pascal Wehrlein has a 50/50 chance of securing a drive in Formula 1 for next season, according to his manager Toto Wolff.
The youngster has been linked with a number of seats on the grid, including a possible spot with Manor.
However, Wolff has suggested that Wehrlein's prospects of racing in the sport in 2016 are only "50%".
He told ARD: "There are several alternatives regarding Pascal, but we should not push him at all costs. We must be calm."
Wehrlein has been linked to Manor after the team agreed to run Mercedes engines from next year, but Manor are also yet to unveil their lineup for 2016.
