Michael Schumacher has no plans to continue in motor racing after his retirement from Formula 1.

Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher has insisted that he will not continue in any other form of motorsport after his retirement from his current discipline.

Schumacher, who did continue racing after his previous retirement, said that no other forms of motorsport offer the same feelings that F1 does.

"No, it's not in my plans [to race elsewhere]," Gazzetta dello Sport quotes Schumacher as saying. "Formula 1 offers the maximum as far as emotions, speed and work completeness are concerned.

"Another type of cars wouldn't give me the same feelings. I'm stopping here completely.

"[It is] a relief, because I have no regrets, just joy for what I've done. From now on life will offer me plenty of new possibilities. I'm looking forward to them."

Schumacher won seven world championship titles in an F1 career spanning three decades.
