Adrian Sutil has been given a three-place grid penalty for impeding Lewis Hamilton in the qualifying phase of the Italian Grand Prix.
Race officials noted that the Force India driver did not deliberately block the Mercedes man on his final Q2 lap, but penalised him nonetheless.
"The stewards determined the impeding was not intentional, however it is the responsibility of the driver to be aware of the approaching car," said an official statement.
Pastor Maldonado, Paul di Resta and Esteban Gutierrez have now been promoted ahead of Sutilon the grid, with the German driver pushed back to 17th.
