Kenny Jackett has admitted that his Wolverhampton Wanderers side "did well" to secure a win over Derby County in the Championship this evening.
The visitors created the majority of the chances in the first half, but Wolves made the most of their opportunities to take the lead after the break, finishing with a 2-0 victory.
The manager told Sky Sports News: "We were good in possession and we did well to overcome them tonight. We did not worry about Derby too much ahead of the match.
"The board have been very supportive of myself, especially in signing Benik Afobe, as long as it is young players who can do well for us.
"Nouha Dicko did have a look at me when I took him off but I understand that. We were being overrun which is why I brought David Edwards on."
Dicko opened the scoring before a Lee Grant own goal doubled the home side's lead, leaving them just outside the playoff places on goal difference.
