Kenny Jackett: 'No complaints with Wolverhampton Wanderers defeat'

Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett admits that his team deserved Tuesday's 2-1 defeat to Ipswich Town.

Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett has admitted that he has no complaints with his side's defeat to Ipswich Town.

Wolves saw their bid for promotion to the Premier League suffer a setback on Tuesday night as they were beaten 2-1 at Portman Road.

Despite having nothing to show for their efforts, Jackett believes that promotion rivals Ipswich were worthy winners come the end of the match.

"I have no complaints, Ipswich worked our goalkeeper more than we worked their goalkeeper," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

"You look at the nature of their goals, they were two quite glaring individual mistakes from Kevin McDonald and Lee Evans, but Ipswich put pressure on us physically and we never exploited the spaces that were out there."

Wolves face another promotion rival on Saturday when they make the trip to Derby County in the league.
