Wednesday's World Cup predictions including Poland vs. Argentina

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's World Cup fixtures, including Poland vs. Argentina.

Tunisia vs. France (Wednesday, 3.00pm)

Having already confirmed a place in the last 16, France visit the Education City Stadium for Wednesday's final World Cup 2022 Group D encounter with Tunisia.

Meanwhile, the African nation sit bottom of the standings and must overcome the reigning champions to stand any chance of making it through to the knockout stages.

We say: Tunisia 0-1 France

Tunisia might fancy their chances against a second-string France side, but their goalscoring woes are showing no signs of letting up any time soon, and France's reservists are still a force to be reckoned with.

We would not be surprised to see another goalless stalemate added to the ever-growing collection, but France's formidable attack can nick a goal to stay perfect and end Tunisia's top-two hopes.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Australia vs. Denmark (Wednesday, 3.00pm)

Australia and Denmark round off their World Cup group stage campaigns when they meet at the Al Janoub Stadium on Wednesday.

With France already through from Group D, this has essentially become a winner-takes-all encounter.

We say: Australia 0-2 Denmark

Even though they only need a draw to progress, Australia will find it difficult against a determined Danish side who will be desperate not to be one of the major underperformers at these finals.

Denmark performed when the pressure was on against Russia at Euro 2020, and they could well pull out a similar display here.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Poland vs. Argentina (Wednesday, 7.00pm)

Argentina will be looking to leapfrog Poland to the top of Group C and qualify for the last 16 of the 2022 World Cup when they do battle at Stadium 974 on Wednesday.

The two-time world champions currently sit level on three points with Saudi Arabia, just one point behind Poland at the summit heading into their final group fixture.

We say: Poland 1-2 Argentina

With the likely prospect of facing world champions France in the last 16 should either nation finish second in Group C, Poland and Argentina will both be determined to come out on the winning side on Wednesday.

Poland have the potential to cause problems for Argentina and another upset cannot be discounted here, but if Messi and co can click in the final third, Scaloni's men should have the quality to edge past their European counterparts and secure top spot.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Saudi Arabia vs. Mexico (Wednesday, 7.00pm)

The race to qualify from World Cup 2022 Group C is set to go right down to the wire, as Saudi Arabia and Mexico prepare to face off in Wednesday's clash at the Lusail Iconic Stadium.

With at least one of Argentina and Poland set to drop points in their top-two battle, all four sides are still in with a shot of progressing to the last-16 stage.

We say: Saudi Arabia 1-2 Mexico

Goal-fests have not been a theme of the 2022 World Cup so far, but an end-to-end encounter should be on the menu here given what is at stake for both sides, especially two who could be a bit more exposed in midfield with their respective absentees.

Saudi Arabia always carry a threat in the final third with Al-Dawsari, but we have faith in Mexico to finally find their shooting boots and earn the win that may or may not be enough for qualification.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.
