Alessio Cerci: 'Torino can upset Inter Milan'

Torino forward Alessio Cerci insists that his side deserve more points in Serie A this season ahead of tonight's clash with Inter Milan.

Torino forward Alessio Cerci has insisted that his side are capable of beating Inter Milan in tonight's Serie A clash at the Stadio Olimpico.

Giampiero Ventura's men have acquitted themselves well against the top sides in Serie A so far this season, but failed to beat either Juventus or AC Milan at home despite encouraging displays.

Football Italia quotes him as saying: "We incredibly dropped points in the final minutes of the game on several occasions, so we could've been in a different position right now.

"We deserved those points, so now are facing a great side like Inter and must remain concentrated to the very end.".

"It is wonderful to score goals, but I am not thinking about the Capocannoniere [top scorer] crown, even if I hope to be on top for as long as possible."

The 26-year-old leads the Serie A scoring charts after a fine start to campaign, netting six times in seven matches.
