Michael Turner claims that Tottenham Hotspur are "a good bet" to finish in the top four.

Sunderland defender Michael Turner has said that he believes Tottenham Hotspur will finish in the top four places in the Premier League.

Turner, whose side welcome Spurs to the Stadium of Light this afternoon, admits that the London club still look "a good bet" to finish in the Champions League places despite their recent dip in form.

"It's going to be a hugely tough game," he told the Sunderland Echo. "They look a good bet for the top four.

"Up front, they can score goals and create chances. They'll be confident facing us.

"We know we'll have to defend well to get something out of the game. It should be an interesting contest and one that we're all looking forward to."

Tottenham beat Sunderland 1-0 earlier this season in the reverse fixture at White Hart Lane.
