Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli says that the club need one or two more players in order to win the Premier League title.

Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli has claimed that the club need one or two additions to win the Premier League title.

Mauricio Pochettino's men finished as runners-up to champions Chelsea last season.

The team ended the campaign with the best attack and defence figures, but they were unable to push the Blues to the final weekend in the title race.

So far this summer, Tottenham are yet to bring in new signings, and they are the only club out of last season's top seven that have not strengthened their squads.

Alli, who has become a first-team regular at the North London outfit, believes that the club need to bring in some new faces if they want to win the league crown.

"I think we're inches away from winning the Premier League. Maybe another player or two players is all we need," the 21-year-old told GQ magazine.

Tottenham will face Juventus at Wembley in their final pre-season friendly this Saturday.
