Saul Niguez, Isco omitted from 23-man Spain squad for Euro 2016

Saul Niguez and Isco are left out of Spain's 23-man squad for Euro 2016.

Spain head coach Vicente del Bosque has opted to leave Saul Niguez and Isco out of his 23-man squad for Euro 2016.

The 65-year-old announced the 19 players that he was taking to France this morning, but delayed confirming the further four additions until now.

Six players from Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid were fighting for the remaining spots following Saturday's Champions League final in Milan.

Real's Isco and Atletico's Saul are the ones to miss out, while Sergio Ramos, Lucas Vazquez, Juanfran and Koke have all made it into the final party.

Earlier today, Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin was promoted from the standby list to the main squad following an injury blow to Dani Carvajal.
