Before attempting to upset the Euro 2024 Group C apple cart, Slovenia play their first of two warm-up friendlies on Tuesday, hosting Armenia at the Stozice Stadium.
While Matjaz Kek's side will be slogging it out with the continent's best later this month, their upcoming visitors fell short in the preliminary rounds.
We say: Slovenia 3-0 Armenia
Potentially one of the surprise packages of Euro 2024, the Sesko-inspired Slovenia should run into few obstacles against an out-of-sorts Armenia side on Tuesday evening.
The visitors are rarely blown away, but that could all change in Ljubljana, where Kek's side have our vote to storm to a confidence-boosting success.

Switzerland will play the first of their two pre-Euro 2024 warm-up fixtures on Tuesday evening, with Estonia their opponents at the Swissporarena in Lucerne.
The home side are building towards their European Championship opener against Hungary on June 15, while Estonia are preparing to take part in the Baltic Cup, with their semi-final taking place on June 8.
We say: Switzerland 2-0 Estonia
Switzerland are heavy favourites to triumph on Tuesday evening, and we are expecting the home side to secure the victory, but Estonia are capable of making it a tricky affair, which is what Switzerland will want as part of their preparations for the European Championship.

Romania vs. Bulgaria (Tuesday, 7.30pm)

Romania will play the first of their two pre-Euro 2024 friendly matches on Tuesday evening, with Bulgaria their opponents at Stadionul Steaua in Bucharest.
The home team will begin their European Championship campaign against Ukraine on June 17, while Bulgaria are next in competitive action at the start of September in the UEFA Nations League.
We say: Romania 1-0 Bulgaria
Bulgaria are capable of making this a tricky match for Romania, and we are not expecting too many goals in Tuesday's international friendly. Romania can call upon the greater quality, though, and we are therefore predicting a narrow home success here.

The first of Portugal's three pre-Euro 2024 friendly fixtures will take place in Lisbon on Tuesday evening, with Finland making the trip to Estadio Jose Alvalade.
Portugal will begin their European Championship campaign against the Czech Republic on June 18, while Finland will return to competitive action at the start of September in the UEFA Nations League.
We say: Portugal 3-0 Finland
Portugal have an embarrassment of riches all over the park, and we are expecting them to have too much for Finland on Tuesday evening, with Ronaldo potentially on the scoresheet in a comfortable success.

Rep. Ireland vs. Hungary (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Hungary travel to the Aviva Stadium to face the Republic of Ireland on Tuesday evening in the first of their two pre-Euro 2024 warm-up fixtures.
While the visitors are starting their preparation ahead of their opening game against Switzerland in the European Championship on June 15, the hosts failed to advance into the tournament through the qualifying stages.
We say: Republic of Ireland 0-2 Hungary
The Republic of Ireland have failed to score in three of their last four games and have only managed one victory in their last eight, while Hungary are currently on a run of 14 games without defeat and scored a brilliant 16 goals in eight qualifying matches.
Rossi's side will want to continue that unbeaten streak going into the upcoming tournament, and we expect the visitors to win this one fairly comfortably.

Austria vs. Serbia (Tuesday, 7.45pm)
© Reuters
Before their respective Euro 2024 campaigns take precedence, Austria and Serbia commence their preparations for the tournament on Tuesday, meeting in Vienna for an international friendly.
Ralf Rangnick's men are on a phenomenal sequence of results and are seeking a sixth straight win this week, but their foes have prevailed in just one of their last four contests.
We say: Austria 2-1 Serbia
Neither manager should be adopting an all-guns blazing approach for an inconsequential win on Tuesday night, where avoiding pre-Euros injuries will be the overriding goal, although Serbia could do with an injection of morale.
Stojkovic's men may briefly benefit from Austria's existing fitness concerns, but Rangnick's in-form troops should emerge victorious by the close of play.

Italy vs. Turkey (Tuesday, 8.00pm)
© Reuters
Reigning champions Italy step up their preparations for Euro 2024 on Tuesday evening, as they welcome fellow finalists Turkey to Bologna for an international friendly.
The Azzurri have posted three wins from their last four matches - the other being a tense draw with Ukraine that sealed qualification - while their visitors cruised through qualifying but were thumped 6-1 in Austria last time out.
We say: Italy 1-1 Turkey
Both nations qualified automatically for Euro 2024, but neither has fully convinced of late - particularly in defence.
The two coaches will want to test solutions to some tactical conundrums without morale taking a hit through defeat, so a low-scoring draw could play out at the Dall'Ara.
