Eden Hazard rules out returning to the Premier League in January, insisting that he will remain at Real Madrid until the summer.

Eden Hazard has dismissed suggestions that he could leave Real Madrid during the January transfer window.

Since departing Chelsea for the Santiago Bernabeu in 2019, Hazard has endured the most frustrating period of his career, suffering numerous injuries and a loss of form.

The Belgium international has contributed just seven goals and 11 assists from his 72 appearances in all competitions.

Despite consistently being named among the Real replacements this campaign, Hazard has barely been provided with an opportunity by Carlo Ancelotti.

Just 229 minutes of football have been played across six matches, Hazard making just one substitute outing since the middle of October.

As a result of being effectively frozen out at Los Blancos, the 31-year-old has been heavily linked with a return to the Premier League at the midway point of the campaign.

Aston Villa, now managed by Unai Emery, have been credited with an interest in the playmaker, while Newcastle United are also said to be admirers.

However, in an interview with Marca, Hazard has revealed that he will not contemplate an exit from Real until the summer.

Hazard said: "In January it is impossible, because I have family and I like the city. But in summer it is possible that I go.

"I have one more year on my contract and it's the club's decision. If the club tells me "Eden, thanks for four years, but you have to go", I have to accept it because it's normal.

"But I would like to play more, show more that I can play, that I am a good player."

Hazard has now linked up with his national team for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar, the Red Devils currently preparing to take on Croatia, Morocco and Canada.

As captain of his country, Hazard is expected to be provided with the chance to add to his 33 goals from 122 outings on the international stage.
