Thiago Motta says that Paris Saint-Germain must take it one game at a time if they are to win the Ligue 1 title.

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Thiago Motta has issued a rallying call to his teammates as they chase the Ligue 1 title.

Carlo Ancelotti's men trail Montpellier HSC by two points with just six games remaining.

However, with no wins in their last three - including two defeats - Les Parisiens' title bid is faltering.

Motta, who moved to the Parc des Princes last summer, has said that the squad must focus on one game at a time if they are to win a first league title since 1994.

"We must be focused on each game," said the 29-year-old. "That's the simplest way of winning all of them.

"We will have time to prepare ourselves for every single one, so we must avoid thinking about just the last few games.

"We missed a great chance in our last game to go level with Montpellier on points but the good thing about football is that on Sunday we will have another opportunity."

PSG face Sochaux at home tomorrow.
