Leonardo's ban extended

The French Football Federation have extended Leonardo's ban for pushing a referee to 13 months.

The French Football Federation have announced that Paris Saint-Germain's sporting director Leonardo's ban has been increased to 13 months.

Leonardo was punished with an initial nine-month ban at the end of May for pushing referee Alexandre Castro in the tunnel, but upon appeal by the French champions it has now been extended to 13 months.

"The superior appeal commission has suspended Leonardo until June 30, 2014," an FFF statement said on Thursday.

Leonardo's ban applies to all official duties and stops him being present on the touchline during PSG's matches.
