Manchester United will reportedly not be signing a new striker during this summer's transfer window.

Manchester United will reportedly not attempt to sign a new striker during this summer's transfer window and will instead wait until next year.

The Red Devils have already agreed a deal for Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho, and the club are also said to be in the market for a new centre-back, right-back and central midfielder.

Man United have also been credited with an interest in the likes of Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane and Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland.

However, Spurs are said to be ready to deny Kane a move this summer, while Haaland is expected to spend another 12 months with BVB before leaving at the end of next season.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side will not be moving for a new centre-forward during this summer's transfer window.

The report claims that Edinson Cavani's new one-year deal at Old Trafford means that the club are happy with their options in the final third heading into next season, with Sancho's arrival imminent.

Mason Greenwood is likely to be given more opportunities through the middle next season, with Sancho signed to operate as the right-sided attacker for the 20-time English champions.
