Real Madrid draw up a three-man shortlist of possible replacements for club captain Sergio Ramos, according to a report.

Real Madrid have reportedly drawn up a three-man shortlist of possible replacements for Sergio Ramos.

The club captain's existing deal at the Bernabeu is due to expire at the end of June, and he recently admitted that there had been no movement in talks over a fresh contract.

Meanwhile, Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane has conceded that Ramos could leave the Spanish champions on a free transfer this summer.

According to Marca, there are currently three possible replacements for the 34-year-old, with Bayern Munich's David Alaba, Villarreal's Pau Torres and Sevilla's Jules Kounde on the shortlist.

Alaba will leave Bayern on a free transfer at the end of June, but the Austrian is thought to be demanding a substantial wage packet.

Torres and Kounde, meanwhile, are also both believed to be targets for Manchester United, with the pair impressing for their respective La Liga clubs during the 2020-21 campaign.

Raphael Varane has also been linked with a move away from Madrid, but the France international is now allegedly close to agreeing a new contract with the club.
