Juventus reportedly price themselves out of securing a deal for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba after introducing a self-imposed salary cap.

Juventus have reportedly priced themselves out of securing a deal for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

For a number of weeks, it has been suggested that the Italian giants - Pogba's former club - are favourites to sign him during the next transfer window.

With United said to be open to a sale, Juventus are allegedly keen to include at least one player in part-exchange in a bid to reduce the financial outlay.

However, Corriere di Torino says that a salary cap has been introduced in order to promote 'financial solidarity' during the coronavirus crisis.

Juventus will seemingly only pay out a maximum of £151,000 per week, significantly below the income of Pogba at Old Trafford.

The World Cup winner will have to take a pay cut in the region of 50% if he wishes to spend a second period in Turin.
