Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has praised the performance of Swansea City following Sunday's 1-1 draw at the Liberty Stadium.

The Red Devils went ahead through Patrice Evra's earlier opener, but Miguel Michu struck before the break as the two sides shared the spoils on a feisty afternoon in Wales.

"We had a few chances but you have to give Swansea credit as well," Vidic told MUTV.

"They fought well and gave everything to get a point out of the game. Overall, I think they played well, we had a few chances and were unlucky."

The draw has seen United's lead at the top of the Premier League table cut down to four points going into the festive period.
