Christian Eriksen scores second-fastest goal in Premier League history

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen scores after only 11 seconds of his side's clash with Manchester United, the second-fastest goal in Premier League history.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen has scored the second-fastest goal in Premier League history to get his side off to a dream start in their clash with Manchester United this evening.

The Dane broke the deadlock after only 11 seconds at Wembley, with Spurs taking the lead before United had even touched the ball.

The goal is the second quickest to have ever been scored in the Premier League era, with Spurs also holding the record for the fastest goal in the competition's history when Ledley King netted after 10 seconds against Bradford City.

Mauricio Pochettino's side would close the gap on the top four back to two points with victory at Wembley, whereas Manchester United could drop down to third with a defeat.
