Marcus Rashford is expected to be fit to start for Manchester United in Sunday's EFL Cup final with Newcastle United despite suffering an injury scare ahead of the contest.
The 25-year-old had emerged as a doubt for the fixture due to the knock that he picked up in the latter stages of Thursday's 2-1 win over Barcelona in the Europa League.
However, Rashford has travelled to London with his teammates, and the England international is expected to be declared fit to start at Wembley in the showpiece event.
The forward has been in brilliant form for Man United this season, scoring 24 goals and registering nine assists in 37 appearances in all competitions.
In the EFL Cup, meanwhile, he has managed five goals and two assists in five appearances this term.

Rashford has faced Newcastle on nine previous occasions during his career, with all of the matches taking place in the Premier League, and he boasts a strong record against them.
Indeed, the Englishman has won six, drawn two and lost just one of his nine matches with the Magpies, scoring four times and registering five assists in the process.
Rashford's first-ever outing against Newcastle came at Old Trafford in 2017, and he provided an assist in a 4-1 victory for the Red Devils.
The forward's first goal against the Magpies came during the 2018-19 campaign, meanwhile, as he found the back of the net and provided an assist in a 2-0 Man United win at St James' Park.

Arguably, Rashford's finest performance against Newcastle came in the early stages of the 2020-21 campaign, when he scored and provided two assists in a 4-1 victory at St James' Park.
The forward also netted once and provided one assist in the reverse match at Old Trafford that season, with the home team running out 3-1 winners.
Rashford has not scored against Newcastle in his last two appearances, though, playing the full 90 minutes of a 1-1 draw at St James' Park last season.
The attacker was then a late substitute in the goalless draw with Eddie Howe's side in the league back in October, with Cristiano Ronaldo leading the line on that occasion.
Rashford's EFL Cup form this season should mean that his confidence is high heading into the contest, having netted against Aston Villa, Burnley, Charlton Athletic and Nottingham Forest in the competition this season.
