Four home nations players feature in UEFA European Qualifiers All-Star team

Four home nations players, including Ashley Williams and Steven Davis, are named in the UEFA European Qualifiers All-Star team.

The home nations have four representatives in a UEFA All-Star team based on Euro 2016 qualifying performances.

Gareth Bale and Ashley Williams were selected as they helped Wales to their first tournament since 1958, while Northern Ireland captain and Southampton midfielder Steven Davis was also deemed worthy of a place in the side after firing his nation to the top of Group F.

Gary Cahill was England's sole representative in the lineup, but his Chelsea teammate Thibaut Courtois was recognised as the best goalkeeper during qualifying.

Swansea City's Gylfi Sigurdsson and Manchester United's Matteo Darmian took the Premier League contingent to six, more than any other league.

The Republic of Ireland could join England, Wales and Northern Ireland at Euro 2016 if they triumph in a two-legged playoff.
