Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino says that Kylian Mbappe remains happy with life at Parc des Princes, despite speculation regarding an exit in the summer.

Mauricio Pochettino says that he expects Kylian Mbappe to remain at Paris Saint-Germain past the end of the 2021-22 campaign.

Mbappe has just under 18 months remaining on his contract, naturally leading to widespread speculation regarding his future at Parc des Princes.

Real Madrid are known to be long-term admirers of the World Cup winner, while Liverpool are also said to be monitoring the situation.

However, Pochettino has claimed that the 22-year-old is happy with life in France's capital, suggesting that he will soon pen a new deal.

Speaking to Marca, Pochettino said: "There's lots of rumours, but I see him remaining at PSG for a long time to come and that's what the club wants.

"We have him in our plans for all the time that we're going to be at the club.

"Granted he needs to make a decision, but what we see is someone who is very happy here and fully committed to the sporting project at this club."

Mbappe has recently said that he intends to make 'a definitive decision' on the next phase of his career in the near future.
